To sell your documentary you will need to have the proper paperwork. I'm not familiar at all with Indian law, but in America you would need things like:
-On camera releases for anyone in the movie
-Location agreements for anywhere you filmed
-Artwork releases for the artwork you filmed

There are all kinds of stuff before you can actually make a profit off the film. Unless in India they don't care.
