Yeah, if we actually put our minds to it, we could stop sinning. Would it be an easy task?? No, it wouldn't, but that is where the problem lies. If it is too hard, we won't do it. Anybody is capable of improvement.

Keyser Söze,
This Christian doesn't. I am a sinner who actually enjoys sinning sometimes. I can hate it too. But I cannot stop it.
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Amen!

We all should strive not to sin but it is impossible because we are mortals and, if you believe in the Bible, it started in the Garden of Eden. But that was God's plan that all of us should try to be as honest, humble, and truthful as possible. It's difficult at times, but a goal for which all of us need to try to attain.

If even one person, other than Y'shua (Jesus), could live without sinning and could give up sinning completely, Christ would have never have had to die! He died, taking the penalty for our sins so that we could live! In other words, He took the rap for the crimes we have committed (and, whether we like it or not, the crimes we will commit and do commit). I John 1:8 says: "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

Sainthood doesn't come easy! Striving to be the best person you can be; trying to give up those sins - like my Pepsi addiction- that is what it is all about. Then hey just before you succeed, you die!
Life is a crock sometimes!!!

it is impossible to give up sinning. however we should not give up trying. Sinning is not reaching the standard set by god. Thus we can never say we are sinless. killing sinners is not the right way to go. We should pray for them and help them repent so that they can return to god. God treasures everyone of us.

No one is perfect, no one can be, only Christ himself was perfect. To be a Christian means to STRIVE for perfection, no one is expecting you to attain it, the Lord sees your effort and for that you will be rewarded, living a life without sin is impossible, even the Pope sins.

No, I don't think they could. Christianity is too forbidding about too many things to completely avoid sinning, even if it's only accidental.
