Sure, I check my levels all the time because I'm hypoglycemic (low blood sugar). I have a tester; it's really easy and the prick on the finger doesn't hurt.

i have 12 diabedics in my family, a combanation of both my mom and dads family, my dad has it, so i am at HIGH risk, and every once and a wile my mom and dad pin me down and test my blood suger(i am 14 and dethly afraid of needles) i am glad that thay test it, i dont mide them testing it, some times i even ask them to, its just that once that needle comes at me i wig out and panic, no mater how much i try to contain my fear.
so to ancer your qwesgin YES i do get my blood sugar testid

not if could help it, i'm so scared of blood and needles i nearly fainted the last time. if needed to however, than yeah i would.

i have, many times. My sister is diabetic, so I've done it just out of curiosity. i guess i wouldn't if i was afraid of needles or something, but it is a very small needle.

I have it checked regularly, as well as other factors (ferritine, hemoglobin, cholesterol, and all the usual stuff).
