I wouldn't go all out because it's not the bed that your new husband (*smile*...I'm getting married next year and can't wait to call him my husband!) will be concerned with. BUT, if you ARE really interested in having something romantic, sexy, and different than normal, I would get some rose petals and fluffy pillows and maybe silk sheets (red, black, or white). Light some candles around the room away from the bed and curtains so that you don't catch the room on fire (with the candles at least.....wink wink). Candlelight is very sexy and romantic. I'm sure that would make for a wonderful first night as a married couple. Any way that you decide to set things up will be perfectly fine with him, I am sure! Good luck and have fun!

These wedding questions sometimes amaze me, it seems as if everything has to be so organised, remember that it is usually good to be spontaneous. As for your bed arrangement, use your imagination, but I would make sure you have a plastic under sheet and spare clean sheets.

Rose petals, candles, soft music, potpourri, etc. If you don't want the fuss, I'm sure your husband won't mind. In the heat of the moment, no one cares what color the bed sheets are.
