My defination of a one night stand is clean cut. You hook up with someone you just got to know on the night itself or may have seen a few times. One night stands are not meant to be with people you hang out with. It's just one night of sex and you leave each other the next day with no commitments and preferably not exchanging numbers.

Yeah it's a one-night stand/booty call. "Come down sometime," means come down occassionally and do him, and then you don't have to leave but you got to get the Hell out of here." Do you really want to be his long distance f**k buddy? Your prince charming is out there looking for you and you are wasting your time with these hobag from DC. Do yourself and your heart a favor and move on. Chalk it up as a fun time that has ended. And, don't keep in touch, the emotional baggage is too much, and he will just try his best to persuade you to come to DC sometime and continue being his f**k buddy. No thanks!!!!

one night stand means one night stand. I mean if you thing that its just lust why do you even bother. If he is nice and wants you to come to D.C., then its okay because he can get physical satisfaction from any other woman and if he loves you he would definitely hope for your best too.

for me, a one-night stand is define as two person having sex and never contacting each other again. in your case, i don't think it is a one-night stand.
