I've been friends with benefits with one my closest guy friends...we've probably been messing around for about 5 months or so now. Many people would ask us if we were dating, but we always answered that we were "just friends". He said that never messed around with anyone else during the whole 5 months that we've been doing this...and the same goes for me. We were almost "together" without really being together, if that makes sense. Well...this friend of mine called me last night to tell me that he might be getting back together with his ex-girlfriend...and I'm super-crushed! I don't really have huge feelings for him, but I just don't want our relationship to change...because we are close friends who had the best time hanging out...who would just happen to end up fooling around at the of the night....So, am I overreacting to this or should I just get over it and move on? Thanks for your advice!!!

I think the best thing to do is just let it go, becoming friends with benefits is taking a huge risk at changing the friendship and that's what happened. If you can be ok with him not giving you the "benefits" and him having a girlfriend, then hey be there and support your friend. If you can't do that then it's time to let it go..........

dont be jealous, your just friends remember...and if you tell him that you still want to have the same benifits that you two enjoy now, I'll bet that he will go for that idea, as long as you dont tell the new/old gf....if not, just find another friend with benifits, we all need one of them.....

you are over reacting to this he didnt say anything would change

Sounds like you just gotta let it go for now. Your benefits have been suspended.
