I would just go with simple and elegant and let the view be the main part of the decor. Natural, earthy, water colors would be best. How about with the sun setting over the water? Tablescapes for the reception done with white table clothes, hurricane globes with large white candles inside (the big tall hurricane globes so the candles won't blow out) and mixed with some greenery and large beautiful shells and starfish scattered around the candles. Whats to eat????? Seafood of course!

Congratulations! What a great venue..a yacht.
A beach theme of course! It would fit perfectly. Think color of sand and sea. So aqua and ivory..looks amazing together. Favors could be either shell chocolates in tiny beach pails, or real shells melted into aqua candles. Music should be beachy, or reggae. Decorations are starfish, blue crystals. Put wine or champagne in pails (complete with the little shovel). The possibilities would be endless.
Best of Luck

I agree with Goddesskitty...the possibilities ARE endless. My husband and I got married near the beach, so we had shell-shaped chocolates and they were a big hit. Ours were Guylian, but many companies make them (and if you look on the web, you can find wholesale candy sites). You can buy real seashells in bulk at some party stores; many people have put those on tables (or their wedding cake) for decoration. Good luck and congratulations!
