Why are people telling you to let it go? IF you still love him and he loves you then why throw away 4 years? If you don't care about each other then that is another matter. Communication is a huge part of a relationship. You can work it out if you are both willing to put forth the effort. If it is not woth it then stick a fork in it because that baby is done.

No! You can't let this relationship go over something so small as communication errors... just sit down with him and talk everything over, until your communication problem has been worked through. Relationships take work. You can't just run away from the problems, because every relationship, no matter how much you love each other, will have its problems. Just talk through it... other wise you would be showing him that your relationship means nothing to you.

4 years is a long time, and you guys should be able to work out through your problems. Honestly you've been through enough and you should just talk about how your communication problems are affecting your relationship. If both of you guys want to save your relationship you can make it work. If you try and things dont seem to work out your way then you may want to reconsider your relationship. Communication is the basis of any relationship whatsoever.

Communication is key. I would suggest breaking it off.
Who knows, you two may learn a lot from being apart, and can be together again someday. But right now, it's not moving so smoothly. You can find new love.
