I need a good idea for a romantic event for my girlfriend and I. To show her that I love her as much as the day I meet her. I also need to make sure it will leave a lasting memory in her heart, or/and an item that she could take with her to college so that she will always think of me. I would appreciate any ideas. Thank you.

i would get a browsure on the college she is going to and map. Put a cute picture of you or you two together inside(tell her before she opens it that you thought she could get a few more pointers for college residents or something). Then with the map mark down where you are and draw a line to where her college is(make sure you tell her that as far as this map may seem you are always in my heart). it may sounds kinda of corny, but hey. Make sure to take her to a nice restraunt, or the place you first met. That way she knows that you care! good luck!

just do something simple it dont have to be all out and stuff like that. like the other guys said a walk with flowers or maybe a walk and then a picnic or something. just something special from you. You know her not none of us. so you know what she likes. Just let her know that you really love her and that you dont want things to change even though your going off to college... thats always the sweetest. Like go out and put a blanket down and just lay there under the stars talking about the times you had together and the times you want to have together. letting her know you will be there when she needs you! ... hope all goes well..

A teddy bear sprayed with some of your cologne is a great gift idea. Its something she can hold close when she thinks of you.
If you plan to continue your relationship long-distance, a "promise ring" is a sweet gift - tell her to wear it as a reminder of your promise to stay true to her.
Get webcams and/or microphones for the both of you to help you keep in touch.

my first yar of college my sweety and I were far apart. He would do things like he wrote me a poem and got it printed on pretty paper then framed it so I could always have it. He wrote me a song and burned it onto a CD so I could hear him tell me how much he loved me whenever I wanted. He gave me stuffed animals and stuff so I could cuddle up to it. He gave me his old hockey jersey and sprayed it with his collogne (spelling?) so that I could feel and smell him whenever.

Dude, she's gonna see you again. I'm in college already, so if anything, do her before you leave. That way, if someone gets in the way while you're in college, you'd already have done her. No harm left to do. And you can move on.

what i did recently might work, take her to where you had your first date don't let her kno about it ,make her feel special shower her with kisses,(do what you think you should do in between),but at the end of the date take her to the first place you kissed if possible and give her a gift promise ring necklace whatever you want,she will remember that always trust me,and you will get a gift that night to if you kno what i mean,it worked for me, thanks for asking

Mmm i suggest to write something on a picture of the two of you so she can have it in her room and see you everyday!

give her an empty box, and hold her hand...look into her eyes.. and tell her inside is your heart and that it's hers no matter what. ..*tear* you can add to that to spring some of your own flavor on to it :)
