My dad's neighbor (I lived w/ my mom) invited the whole family on his boat & we had to stay overnight. Let's just say he got overly friendly with me and I couldn't tell anyone in my family. The best I could do was to tell my girlfriend who lived across the street from him to watch out for him. A year or two later when I was 13 my mom got fed up w/ my behaviour and threatened to make me go live with my dad & I was so horrified at the thought of having to live next door to that creep that I finally told her. So she called my dad to confront him about it and said I better not be LYING and my dad told me he confronted the guy about it & the guy said he never meant for me to take it that way. Anyhow, major horror @ 13.

My stepsister who lived w/ my dad was raped at her graduation party and she got pregnant. They are catholic & so she didn't tell anyone she was pregnant until she went into labor even though she was living at home she hid it for 9 months.

No I would not let them think it happened with my consent if it didn't.

If a person was raped, that person needs to tell for two main reasons. First, the rapist who is not stopped will rape again. Second, the victim of the rape will carry around an emotional burden the rest of her life if she does not report the rape and get help dealing with what has happened to her. The pregnancy just makes this issue more compelling. There is never any reason to protect a rapist by keeping quiet.

Absolutely I would tell... That person needs to be stopped before he continues to do it and maybe next time kills some one.... and what about the girl he already raped, she deserves justice.... Definitely tell !!!

Tell someone. It's the hardest thing in the world to do, but rape is a horrible crime and the rapist deserves to be punished.

Go to the police and file charges. Go see a rape counsellor.

You need to tell them exactly what happened. This rapist should be taken off the streets.

tell, tell, tell. rape is never okay, and there is no reason to hide from the adults around you-if they wont listen go to the police, you have a right to protect your own body-use it!!!!!!

I would tell someone. Just think he could be doing it to other people. And that is wrong. Please tell its the right thing to do even if you are scared.
