if your child is around a homosexual they will "catch" it? a couple people answered my last questions with that type of response. are you people for real?

To date there hasn't been any conclusive proof that homosexuals are either contagious nor do they "recruit" their numbers.

Adults and Parents can effect the sexuality of children but not by being homosexual. If a child is genetically susceptible to environmental influence towards homosexuality the most likely thing to cause it would be a father who is always absent from a sons life and/or who shows no love or affection or interest in his son. Also a mother who does not fulfill a mothers classic role in a marriage and is often detached from her children emotionally .
But NO you can't catch "GAY" from a flammer!

You should read about psycho-sexual stages of development and about modeling. Haven't you seen how children (especially small children) imitate their same sexed parent? If you are an adult, haven't you reflected on your life and seen where you have similar characteristics as people who were role models to you?
Modeling is a subconscious process were a child becomes like the people around them, especially the ones that are most important to them. It is very important to limit a child's friends and the adults they associate with to people who will be positive influences in their lives.

Good god? Really? People are such morons. I'm bi, and I was never sexually abused. Sometimes people make me sick.
What do say about homosexual animals? My grandparents' dog apparently liked other male dogs a little "too much". Did Fido (may he rest in Hell) have a choice? Was he sexually abused?

A child watches and if it sees something repeated often enough it will accept it as the norm
We watch so much violence on TV now that we hardly get shocked when we see it in real life-- SAME THING!

Unfortunately, there are some people that really believe that. Or that you can "make" someone gay. A Chick tract actually says "If someone tries to make YOU gay, stay away from them!"

Unfortunately their minds are. It is not a disease that can be caught like a cold. Its a mindset caused by many factors that are still being researched.
