Because some people jump into a relationship without even giving it a thought. ~ Us good hearted people, like to weigh our options, check out the scenery, and take our time. It may take us a while to find someone special, but it will be worth it in the long run!

What an excellent question. I think the answer is that most people care way more about looks than about being with a truly good-hearted, nice person. I know a woman who is an absolute nightmare - she's mean, a pathological liar, insults everyone and everything, but she is attractive and men flock to her. I am nothing special to look at and am also overweight (currently losing). I have my faults but I am known to be a kind and friendly person who hates to hurt people. In 23 years on this earth, no guy has ever so much looked in my direction except my one ex-boyfriend, who didn't even find me attractive.

I believe that good-hearted people don't like to rush into things and hurt the other person (or even themselves). A lot of times, if two people just hurry into being official..they find some faults in the other person that really bothers them. On the other hand, if they really get to know each other before they start dating, they can know that they like each other for the people that they truly are and they feel completely comfortable around each other. I really admire you for that question, it was a really good one! I hope this helps, take care.

They could have been hurt before and now are too afraid to start a new relationship. It just seems like people try to take advantage of good hearted people.

Maybe it's because they're good hearted that many people want to have a relationship with them? Maybe they're having a difficult time figuring out who they should choose. Maybe they're involved in lots of activities ('coz they're good hearted) that they don't have time to pursue a relationship? These are all maybes. If I knew more about your question maybe (again) I can help you. Drop me a line: vforviva@yahoo.com =)
