She has a bad skin problem. I brought her to the vet and it's really not helping. She lost almost all her hair, running fever, sores and bumps all over her body, scratching. Vet says she has staff infection and alopecia, highly alergic to fleas. Is this normal for this breed. What else can I do to help her?

I had a staffordshire terrier that had skin allergies, and flea allergies are actually very common in all breeds of dogs. Get your dog on advantage or frontline, after they have treated your dogs physical signs. Ask the vet what can help your dog as far as itchy dry skin is concerned, there should be a cream or oil for them. Don't wash your dog, as this could irritate it further (unless advised by the vet of course), and if your dog is in alot of pain or discomfort, they should be able to give it a shot of cortizone ( I'm pretty sure I spelled that wrong) or something to ease the swelling and pain.

It's really sad to see your pet in pain, I know, it took a few visits to work out what my dog was allergic to.

All the best.

why can't he treat her with steriods for the itching, antibiotics for the infection, flea treatment, soothing ointment for her skin etc?
have you talked to the breeder that you got her from, they probably have some of this also
