I wouldn't eat it unless you boil it. It will be really tough, unless it is a baby or something. You might want to use some tenderizor, but make sure you know wether or not you can have MSG. Basting it doesn't work well, since broiling or baking it won't make a good flavor since it is a tough piece of meat. You can also try to mix it with a curry sauce or cook it for a long time in a crock pot. That might work. Good luck~

Those temps are to low for a heart. And no need to baste if its fresh, Should still be beating when its the best. Try cooking on the grill, Use straight mesquite wood for best flavor

Heart is pretty tough, I'd opt for a low and slow moist cooking method. Oven should be about 275, put heart in pan and pour in about 1/2 inch of red wine, cover tightly with aluminum foil and roast for about 2 and a half hours. Deglaze pan and create a wine sauce.

Fine. Let's answer this like a real cooking question.
The heart is a muscle (not organ meat) so treat it like a small roast. Pop it in the oven at aroun 300 in a pan for about two hours. Wrap in aluminum foil (with veggies and herbs), so you won't have to baiste.
Or you could wrap in foil (with veggies) and leave it in the crock pot on low for the day.

i would bake at 420 for approximately 10-12 minutes i recommend a baking bag ensures the flavor stays sealed in the meat stuff with mint leaves for an extra special treat

baste it in chicken stock and bake it for 50mins over 350 heat. 5mins before done, glace it with sugar for an extra gloss.

Human heart is full of hard-to-chew muscle tissues.A real gourmet wouldn't touch it,unlike human spleen and liver which are considered yummies among cannibals.

if u cook it with red wine it might soften it a bit. i'd go with lower heat and longer cooking time, the heart is a pretty tough muscle....but good when done right. serve with a side of steamed toes-and-asparagus. i know it's a common side dish, but it's just so delicious with heart.... :)

Why eat their heart? Put it in another "friend"'s microwave, set it for 30 minutes and leave a nasty mess for them to clean up.

I mean, if you're going to be evil, don't half-a@@ it.
