Why is it that when I install Quicktime my browser can't display some type of flash movies correctly?

I have Windows XP

it displays the quicktime logo with a question mark over it.

i think you need shockwave player plugin. Its nothing to do with Quicktime. Quicktime 6 still work great for me. Go here and install Shockwave player for:-

There are no connection with Flash and QuickTime as far as I know. You can try installing the latest QuickTime version for the computer and update the Flash player to the latest version. This may resolve the problem.

Hey that is not a Flash movie. You need the QuickTime plug-in to see the movie. It works with IE only (as I know) and it’s a browser plug-in. Just update the QuickTime from the above link and you’ll see the streaming movie than the QuickTime logo with question mark.
