What about Judge not lest ye be judged, tolorence, love thy neighbor, love thy enemy, turn the other cheek, do not covet, ETC!
Did we forget about all the similarities "Religions" have. Maybe we should practice real spirituality and not religion. Maybe if we walked the walk instead of talking and judging so much, the world might be a little better...."Let you with out sin cast the first stone."
What say ye?

I also agree, but we first must get rid of the Christ Cultists...Murder their faith, rape their dogma.

You're right. If everyone followed the peaceful teachings of their faith and were tolerant of other faiths the world would be a better place. That's WHY people have faith, and prophets, etc.

Unfortunately, not everyone does that. No matter how tolerant we were the abolitionists couldn't stop the slave traders from selling humans; the English couldn't stop the Nazi's from arresting Jews for being Jewish; and I doubt we can stop people from flying planes into our buildings.

In a world where people are slaughtered by the thousands while the U.N. argues semantics (if its genocide we have to stop it, if it's just murder we don't, so we'll call it murder), making the world "a little better" is hardly enough... It takes guts and a really big military just to keep you free to practice your spirituality which ever way you want!

Oh, were you just talking about the folks on this website. Sorry. But, how is our sitting here typing and getting along going to change the world?

yes more humans should focus on spiritual path. Because if more and more human being went more spiritual than hatred and fighting that there religion is the right religion when alot of the religions are the same. Especially Christianity,Judaism, and Islamic religion are based on one god. But the people who follow there religions usual Miss interpret what there teachings from there holy books. Like Islam. Osma bin laden For example Read only parts of it and didn't finish what it was saying. He only did it so that he could have more followers for his terrorist group. Christianity you can see it in everyday life the hatred. If we all went for the spiritual path there would be no wars there would be no hate there would be nothing but peace. But this world is so corrupt now its so hard to do that.

The answer is Yes. We should focus our lives on the spiritual to enable us to fulfill the Will of God.

I have been answering and asking questions here for a short time now. I have seen many so called Christians who do not have the wisdom or knowledge yet from the Word give bad answers to unbelievers. The reverse is true also.

Me, being a Christian, and a learned one at that, try to give Spirit filled answers but find they mostly fall on deaf ears so to speak.

There will never be peace in the world until Our Saviour Jesus Christ returns. We can all try as is our commission.

I sympathized with you.><>

You've touched upon some of my favorite topics. Judgment. Tolerance.

Judgment is not a bad thing and this reference to the Bible is one of the most abused verses I know of. Do you choose your friends? Do you choose who you are willing to do business with? These are judgments and they are necessary for your survival. The way this was meant was along the lines of, 'do not condemn your neighbor unjustly, for by the measure that you judge others, so will your Father in heaven judge you."

Tolerance is preached throughout the media and the liberal campus' and yet the least tolerant places you can be is on a college campus. Hypocrites. First clean up your own back yard, then come talk to me about mine. First pull the log out of your own eye, then perhaps you'll be able to administer care for the speck in mine.

Love thy neighbor is meant to be the general rule, but love thy enemy is for a witness to someone who is threatening my life BECAUSE I AM A CHRISTIAN, and not meant for me to be a doormat to every other philosophy that comes along. Turn the other cheek, does not mean rollover and allow those who would do harm to my faith to rip into my most tender parts. It does mean that I am to speak the truth, and if I am struck for it, keep speaking the truth and show the aggressor how evil his nature is.

What you are suggesting is not a demonstration of the better way, but appeasement to those who would destroy us. No thank you for your terrible interpretation of the words of Christ.

I don't belive in spirits or any path for them.

If people were not judged then the criminals would still be running arround.

Know thy enemy. Love is for family and friends.

Tolerance is a good thing in my book.

Turning the other cheek only works for a little while. Eventually you have to stand for something.

If no one ever coveted anything then we would have a world full of slackers.

*WHAMMMMM*
My stone just hit someone.

Absolutely!

How fast are people going to change if a stranger tells them that they are nuts, or uneducated, or whatever. If you think differently, that is ok. If you really believe what you say, that is your right.
If you don't really believe it or are not sure...don't worry about it.

One way of living is not right or wrong for any city. So, why try to change a whole country to think like you?

God is here for us all, but we see Him in a different light than the next person. Don't hate anyone for that, or for anything!

Grow in your faith as best that you can, you will be too busy to monitor anyone else.

Wow. If you're a Christian, you're the first one I've heard from in a very long time who actually gets the point that your God has been trying to make all along.
I say you are absolutely correct and I wish that more people would practice kindness and reciprocity over prosletyzing dogma and self-righteous superiority.

Thanks :)

Excellent. If we have faith in God, he will take care of everything else. Let's focus on making things better now, and assure that the attrocities of the past do not happen again.

CAN"T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG!!!

Congratulations! You have achieved a level of enlightenment which few people ever will. Have your personal beliefs, and let everyone else have theirs.

Too bad you will never convince the majority of people to follow that example.

No. I think that we as zebras should focus on the spiritual path as opposed to arguing about who is right and who is wrong.
