kind of a second part to my last question re gay marriages. if you think it's wrong, what would happen if you just ignored the gay people and lived your life how you see fit for yourself?

I don't mind letting them be, If asked, i'll state my opinion, if the subject is brought up i'll state my opinion.... but i dont go around looking for, and criticizing them, i feel that is wrong as well,

To turn the other cheek is a response to an assault.

I don't think that gay people have assaulted me, so for me to turn the other cheek....well, I'd have to turn the first cheek and see if any homosexuals smacked me.

I am not commenting one way or the other on homosexuality and Christianity. I am just pointing out the error of your suggestion here.

Signed,

Your friendly neighborhood nitpicker

Turning the other cheek is a fifty fifty chance these days.
Ignoring the gay community is impossible.
Trying to go on with your life while doing so...priceless.

The same thing that would happen if we didn't tell anybody that Jesus can save them from their sins.

Eze 3:18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

sorry love its a Christian belief, but many Christians take it too far. We care more about homosexuality then many other sins which are much worse, like pride for example. - this just shouldn't be the case. Remember, we love the sinner, not the sin.

Nothing would happen to me if I turned the other cheek. I might get slapped but, Jesus said to turn the other cheek so that your enemy can slap the other cheek. So maybe we have all gotten slapped. Who Knows? Darn satan for causing so much Trouble!

by law in america its wrong to ban because its showing not everyone is equal. Religious law it is right to ban gay rights. Mostly thats where its coming from religious rather than our law.
