my class rank in percentage is 47% and it is 169 out of 361. What am i closest to: highest tenth, second tenth, middle fifth, fourth fifth, or lowest fifth. how did you figure that out? and dont bother answering if you're gonna say to ask my counselor.

You'd be in the "lower half" of your class. Let's just say 47 is near 50 and 50% is half of 100%. Does that help?

i assume you're talking about high school...
when i graduated, other than valedictorian and salututorian, there was no official "class ranking"...
a much better system...
