You mean the person in charge of the execution team?
You know the one that says that Jesus is the son of God.
Are you really sure you love this roman solder.
Or would you be more comfortable with the priests that had Jesus executed.
And who do you love when the tomb is empty and Jesus is with the living?
Jesus is alive and your loves are dead.

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, thou for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."-Romans 5:6-8
"For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation."-Romans 5:10-11

Me too.
According to historians, his name was Longinus, and at the moment he did that, he was cured of an ailment.
Jesus loved him, so it is moot to also love him.

Depends, do you love him because he mutilated Christ, or do you love him just because he was him?
