Hey Christian Lady... Maybe thats your problem eh? Perhaps a more rounded education and understanding of the world around you is what you need, instead of wallowing in Ignorance.
Questioning is not ridicule or sarcasm. My statement to you is an example of that, the question above however seems totally kosher IMO.
But to answer the question, they are idiots, like this Christian lady above me. Ignorant fools who prefer the idea of the Invisible Sky Jew rather than reality.
Its as simple as that.

You seem to be saying that Christianity does not believe in the possibility of evolution, and you sure took a LOT of beating around the bush to do it. Have I interpreted your rant correctly?
First thing, you lump all Christians into the same group. Not so. Not all Christians take the bible as literal truth. The bible would never be admitted into a court of law since virtually ALL of the bible is hearsay, people telling stories to other people and generations later being written down. There is a LOT of room for error there and a lot of Christian faiths acknowledge this. Saying that Christianity does not acknowledge evolution is like saying Islam believes in terrorism. Some do, but surely not ALL. Nowhere in Islam is violence touted as a solution, yet some do go to this extreme, The same applies to evolution and Christians. Just because some interpret the bible as literal truth and refuse to acknowledge is not a reason to accuse ALL Christians of this. What about other religious faiths, Buddism, for example? Buddists do not believe in a single God, but rather becoming one with the universe, which if I read that right, would make us ALL God in a manner of speaking at some point in the future. I feel sorry for you, that you would make such a wide sweeping generality. If you take the bible literally, then you could also say all Christians are cannibals. Think about it, "the blood of Christ," and "The body of Christ" are sacrements, aren't they? Represented by wine and bread in religious services? Or have I misinterpreted what the wine and wafer represent in the Catholic Church? I do not know if I am a Christian. I do not know if I believe in God. If there IS a God, then it follows from the bible I was made in his image and there is a grand plan out there devised by God for us all, and if so, then God understands my doubts because God made me this way. How can I be damned to Hell for being exactly what God made me to be? Therefore, I believe in evolution because I can see physical scientific evidence that it is possible, and besides, if there is that grand plan out there, then God knows this and made it possible. So there. Be a little more tolerant of the rest of us as we will be with you. Wait, I now that comes from somewhere... Right, the Golden Rule...I remember now...

Actually our faith grows stronger because the more one learns about the bible the more it makes sense. All the stories fit together. The consistency is amazing especially to me since I used to think like you do. I questioned it for years.
The theory of evolution is the opposite however. I grew up believing in it. But as I grew older it started to make less sense. I had doubts before becoming a Christian. I didn't have answers but somethings just didn't make sense. Today I think that even without the bible, science refutes evolution. Why are there mass extinctions instead of constant steady extinctions? How did life begin? If the earth is as old as they say, why hasn't the rotation slowed down more? Was it originally spinning so fast that it would have spun everything off it's surface? Could there be another scientific theory coming along in the future that makes more sense?

There is no fact or logical basis for evolution. Kind of like evolution vs Creation. It takes more faith to believe in evolution than it does to believe in God. Creation is so much more finite. You know that all around you was created by God, not by a rock. The evidence is all around. It is too convincing. Not a matter of believing what makes me feel good. A matter of believing the truth. Sure, study out both and see where you end up. It has nothing to do with being ignorant. You can believe in evolution. In so doing, believing in that takes as much faith to believe that a donkee created this world. It is much easier to believe God created this world than evolution. Evolution is based on hypothesis that have not been proven by scientific fact. Creation has been proven by scientific fact. Just like if you drop[ a pencil, it will drop to the ground.

Some Christians do question bible stories, always looking for a new way to interpret them or new leasons to learn or even new questions to ask.
And some Christians do consider that evolution is not incompatible with their faith, although with some doubt about some of the specifics of how it is usually taught.
Do you actually talk with Christians or simply notice the vocal outpouring's from here?

I just love to read my Bible. It tells of people like yourself that will scoff at the Word and believers in the Word. This is something that will precede the tribulation of Satan. This brings all true Christians closer to the second advent of Jesus Christ.
Now as for the theory of evolution, a theory is just a thought vocalized. No beginning or ending. No nothing. There is no proof to this theory. It makes no sense.
I do hope this can help you in your own search for truth.><>

Because EVERYBODY knows you can live in the belly of a whale
but those dinosaur bones are just six thousand years old. *LOL*
If God is omnipotent (as Christians believe) and even one baby
anywhere starves to death then God either wanted that baby to starve (therefore God is evil), or he couldn't keep the baby from starving, therefore he is not God...
But nothing that you say to a Christian will change their minds,
because they can't use their minds... sadly their thought processes have been hijacked by an infectious 'meme'... a thought feedback loop that they can't break...

Good question, and comments. I was brought up Jewish, and try to follow God's laws, not mans' laws. I have asked God to show me Jesus for many years, and the more I learn, the less it makes sense. I think Chrisianity has become an easy way out for people, instead of living the life and example that Jesus did. It almost seems like they are brainwashed, and cannot accept others whom do not believe the way they believe. They say that they do not want to judge, but will pray for you. And yet there actions show otherwise.

you are a tool dude. You think this way because you don't want to accept the fact that you are not the most powerful being in the universe.
evelution is wrong because where is the "monkey-man"? whe have the monkey and we have the man why is the middle of the chart nonexistant?
Try not to live your life with so much anger towards a god that died so that your sin could be forgiven.
trust me change your attitude. where are you going to be in 100 years? dead right? make sure you secure your eternity. give your life to christ today.
you'll be in my prayers god bless you my brother

By your words, I presume you are young -probably both mentally and physically....therefore I will ignore the infantile, pedantic rant and try to answer your question........
Simply put...
People who have faith .....need only to believe
People who want facts.....need proof
Save the specious logic..and the implied intellectual superiority.... it's more than a bit juvenile....
But keep doubting and thinking....
but add a touch of "reserve" and "respect" for other peoples' views...
with those added, you might be able to ask an intelligent question without the [non too subtle ] sneer.....
