get chekked by a dentist to rule out serious problems. Take vitamin C with bioflavinoids and grapeseed extract to strengthen your blood vessels. Coenzyme Q10 also has been shown to be of benefit to some people with gingivitis. Good dental hygiene (brushing and flossing) are vital. Take a multivitamin.

The cure is a dentist!

Bleeding gums are not good. When your gums bleed, that means that infection has actually started to settle deep down into the gum line.

A deep cleaning, and often dental visits are the cure for bleeding gums. Don't forget flossing when ever you can!

How can Bleeding Gums be treated ?
If long standing inflammation is the cause of bleeding then removal of the source of bacteria will result in improvement of the situation. Proper maintenance of the teeth by the patient is a must.

For vitamin deficiency, proper diet or vitamin supplements are recommended.

Sore and bleeding gums can be aggravated by citrus fruits and juices, rough or spicy food, alcohol, and tobacco. Take vitamin C supplements, if citrus fruits and juices cannot be taken.

If dentures (artificial teeth) make gums bleed, wear them only during meals.

Gum bleeding can be controlled by applying pressure with a gauze pad soaked in ice water directly to the bleeding gums.

Brush teeth gently (with a soft-bristle toothbrush) after every meal. The dentist may recommend rinsing with salt water or hydrogen peroxide and water. Avoid using commercial, alcohol-containing mouthwashes, which aggravate the problem.

Could be early stage gingivitis. Get your teeth professionally cleaned ASAP to remove harmful tartar build-up. There after, floss every single day! Try brushing your teeth more often to stimulate the gums. Use an oral rinse prior to brushing like: Crest Pro Health Rinse and use it after brushing.

A soft bristle brush is best for tender gums. Don't brush too hard, it will only irritate the gums.

Swish salty water in your mouth for a few seconds. It'll stop the bleeding temporarily but you need to get to a dental professional to determine that there isn't something more serious going on. If you're not a regular flosser, they'll reccommend that because it will toughen up your gums.

hydrogen peroxide (mixed with water 50/50) as a mouth wash

a 16 oz bottle cost about $1 over the counter and most bottles will explain how to use as a mouthwash this will keep infection down, but a dentist should still be sought as others have recommended.

It taste nasty, but don't drink it, swish your mouth with hydrogen peroxide a couple of times a day, for a few days. It will bubble ,which is showing where the infection is, but it helps heal it for now, until you can get to a dentist. I know it's not always easy just running to the dentist right off the bat...It's a home rememdy, but its good to help for now.
