Because shes 12 years old and wants to do that to make her ex-boyfriend jealous.I think it's stupid,but she won't change her mind.

Yes it's wrong. A 12 year old is still a child with a child's mind and should not even be thinking about sex at this point in her life. And doing it just to make someone else jealous shows that she isn't mature enough to handle it. Sex isn't for kids, its for adults who are mature enough to handle the responsibility that comes with it. Maybe you should tell her mother. This girl needs some serious guidance and help.

I hope that 12 year old girl wakes up before it is too late. That is no way to make her ex-boyfriend jealous, she is too young to mess up her life, and it is not worth it. I would hope that someone would infom me or my wife if I had a 12 year old daughter that was going to have sex.
I hope she gets a chance to read some of these emails before she has sex at the age of 12, and any other girl at the age below 18.
I wish her the best of luck and my prayers go out to her and to anyone else involved.

You won't be able to stop here or her mother at that. If she wants to do it, then she will find a way. Just tell her, that if she does end up having sex...word gets around, and she has to think about what people(kids are mean now a days) will do to her....not to mention I'm sure she'll be called a slut. Espcially if her ex. boyfriend finds out. Even though she may of done it this one time, it will huant her.

If you can't get her to change her mind, at least make sure she uses protection, .like a condom. She can get pregnant from one time. But trully, she is just waaaaayyyyyyy to young to be making a choice like this. Is there an adult that you trust that you could tell and see if they can give you any ideas to keep her from doing this. IF all else fails, talk to her mom! I would want to know if my 12 yr old was going to have sex.....she is way to young and immature. There are other ways to make someone jealous!

She's not likely to be happy with the results. If she just wants to make her ex jealous, she'd be better off just *telling* people she's had sex.
Having sex is a *big* lifechange, and shouldn't be done lightly or for petty vicious reasons. When she's ready for it, it should be something she does for herself, for her own growth and change, not to piss off someone else.
There's probably no way to tell her that "you'll regret it later" or "two years from now, you won't care what that boy thinks"--but you can tell her that it's HER life, not his, so she should live it for her values, not his--and first-time sex only gets to happen ONCE, and she should work to make that experience as precious and sacred as she can.
We don't get enough first times (for anything), and she shouldn't waste one of the important ones on malice or revenge.

Yes, it is wrong. To ruin HER reputation and perhaps HER life just so some jerk will know SHE had sex is not playing with a full deck of cards. She is childish to think her boyfriend even cares and IF she does have sex, no doubt the boyfriend will come back....for some of the action....but that will be the ONLY reason and then he will be gone,,,,,,looking for someone else to conquer. Her mode of thinking is to hurt herself, not the boyfriend. Self pity.
Also.....STDs are becoming tougher and tougher to get rid of. IF the boy, she has sex with, has AIDS.....she can begin to plan for her funeral in....oh....at age of 30 or so...all because of childish thinking. Pops

What is this world coming to? Babies having sex...and sometimes babies. Tell your friend she is making the biggest mistake of her life. She has plenty of time when she gets older to do anything she pleases with her body. Twelve is a baby! She won't even enjoy it, especially because she is doing it to make someone jealous. Her mother needs to be aware that she plans to do this so that she has a "grown-up" figure to knock some sense into her.

Tell her the old expression that "She's cutting off her nose to spite her face" Maybe she's not only too young to be having sex, she may be too young to understand the expression.
She'll make him jealous and she'll also make him want to dumps her. Then he'll be spreading the word around that she's a slut, tramp, etc. etc. That will do wonders for her reputation, won't it?

It is very wrong. For one thing she is too young and doing it for the wrong reason. But she should also consider that sex should be something that she ENJOYS. Mind game sex is always a bad idea, it leads to guilt and anger and more mind games. She should wait until marriage or love or at least lust.

Aside from the fact that she's WAY too young to have sex, she's doing it for the wrong reason. The boyfriend still won't care about her, but now he can be disgusted with her too.
