It was a girl I liked in high school.
On Valentine's Day, I brought her a big teddy bear, a dozen roses, and a box of chocolates and gave it to her while we were in theater class.
Our high school theater seated 1,450 people and was very large. Me and another friend of mine were responsible for running and maintaining all of the electronic equipment in the theater.
So I had him go up to the sound system and put in the song "I'll be Right Here Waiting For You" by Richard Marx. The I asked her to dance on stage in front of two theater classes (about 60 other students.)
Some of the girls said it was the most romantic thing they had ever seen.

I had moved to Florida while my girlfriend still lived back in Iowa and on her birthday I flew home without her knowing. I called her up while I was on my way to her house and was just having a normal conversation and then when she answered the door I was standing there with the phone to my ear and flowers in my hand. She was blown away.

next thing you know you end up hounded for this and that as she thinks she is entitled to everthing in life.. she's not
only the fools romance a women and pay for the rest of their life
and if they back off a little, the women will seek it elsewhere
so much for loyalty

i collected shelves in the beach and then i made a heart saying i love you and her name... i also drove 28 hours to surprise her for her birthday and then i had to drive back home because I had to work the next day... that sucked! but i had a really great time with her... whatever you do in the name of love is worth it ^^
