i have looked all over the internet and cant find nothing i sure hope someone can help me i lost the original remote and i got several universal ones around here but no papers for them

if its a pretty good universal remote it usually is programmable by pressing either the menu/shift button or the on/off button(depending on the product--vcr, dvd player, etc., you may have to press these buttons more than once) check the instructions for the remote.

The remote control you have has a different code than the universal remote control I have for the same device.
Also not all memorex DVD players have the same codes.
Best method is try aboves reomendation.
