Poor people have poor ways. If you divided all the money in the world equally amongst the population, within 24 hours there would be rich people and poor people...it's just the way it is!

Because rich people have to have poor people to do crappy work, like clean the house, mow the lawn, refill water glasses, etc. Or, it may reflect innate differences between average brain-power of different groups. Or, it could be that there is a cycle of poverty and poorness, and it's real hard to break. Or, maybe god just likes rich people better. You may be able to find a better/more comprehensive answer to your question in reading some Karl Marx and his ilk.

It is a question of choice, a question of luck and a question both sides will have their answer. You might think God has put them there but the first people on earth have wandered through the world searching for different kind of understandings and some looked for materials blessings, others look for the meaning of their existence, others just choose to keep on wandering and wondering.
Wherever and whatever we are now is the result of what our ancestral lineage have done for their lives coupled but how each one of us have made a choice in ours. To say some have had no choice is already a choice.

There is a reason for people to do what they are to do according to God. Only He can say what happens to an individual in their life. If they are poor, it was ment to be. If they are rich, it was ment to be. It is ok to be poor because you can appreciate things more that way and enjoy your special moments.

I believe God blesses some with money to help others, the less fortunate. If they choose not to and are more concerned about the material things they can achieve, then it is greed and materialistic values.

Why sick people become healthy and healthy people become sick?
Why there is the sun in daytime and the moon in nightime?...
