No everyone is a good candidate for hypnosis. For those who can be hypnotize, it is a very good therapy that allows the person to let down many inhibitions and work through the issues that cause both the anxiety and confidence.

IF you are looking for someone to help, contact your local mental health center (usually state run) and ask for an appointment. Usually the cost is on a sliding free scale. Private counseling of any form is not cheap but those provided by the State system of mental health/hygiene is reasonable.

hypnotherapy is quackery. it can temporarily relax you but only from the sitting and resting you get during the procedure. You can't be hypnotized into being different than you are. It just doesnt work!

They tried it on me for years to keep me from suicide. I kept trying anyway, it had no effect. Now I'm on great drugs and feel fine.
