Girlfriend, inform your boyfriend that having a "textmate" is a "Gateway behavior." What I mean by this is, if he is just "texting" he may eventually decide to meet up with this hobag. Therefore, inform your boyfriend that you will not tolerate him texting with another woman, and you are not comfortable with it.

I know what you mean by trust slowly being disturbed. I have to be honest with you. I started text messaging someone I am really attracted to and slowly but surely we started to get intimate thru the text and finally we had phone sex. Although we have never been physical I still feel guilty cause both of us are in a long term relationship. We are still doing phone and texting each other sexually now I dont know how to stop. Be careful, it might lead to something else is the point I am trying to make!!

It always starts somewhere...A cup of coffee, a friendly drink, a nice conversation, a texmate. Will it escalate? Don't these things usually progress? maybe he is curious...filling a gap he may not even know he has.

I think it escalate to more than that so i suggest you tell him you're not okay with it.
