Turn of the the light and you cant see the object anymore; by doing so you realise the importance of light. You would automatically turn your focus to the light :-)

Yep really, I think even an atheist / agnostic like me would appreciate a simple meditation to clear the mind once in a while.
Without going head to head on the issue of any higher power;and without resorting to mysticism or magic, there is, or should be, plenty of light to throw around, discuss and perhaps cause some enlightenment without the fear of offending someone, I hope -- skating right into thin ice now...

Actually, we only 'see' the light reflected off the object, so we are focusing on the light. If you turn away and cannot see it, is it really there? Only by seeing touching or otherwise sensing it does it become a part of our 'reality' . Our reality exist within our consciousness and so we have the power to change it. You only have to find the way.

You have a good question. You could always turn the light off, but the object is still there. Just believe in who you are.

Look at the light source, instead of the object.
Otherwise everything else is going to reflect that light to you. Only the source provides you the real thing, that is, the original, emergent light.

Yes, most of us forget. We think that objects satisfy our present and practical needs; while light is something common for all creatures and nobody can possess it and then resell it!
Learning will make the change. If learning fails, more learning is required. If more learning still fails, please reconsider what is that learning!

This statement draws a significant conclusion:
Science is the God.
Nature is the God.
Therefore, we should worship science.
How to worship science?
Not to study buble but to study nature.
To learn the science
To study the science
To discover the science
To understand the science.
Thanks, I am enlightened.

to change the focus is to give in to the thought.... to accept it's reality, to embrace it's truth. whatever it leads us into, be brave to weather it's faults... after all, it's your choice that lead you to its dominion...
