Islam and Christianity are parts of the same religion . They're all one religion, the religion of God, and every millennia or so God sends another Messenger to renew His religion. Sure, they are different religious dispensations. That is like two parts of the same body. Both worship God/Allah (same thing people, Allah is only an Arabic word meaning God, let's not trip on a foreign word, shall we?), both believe that God/Allah is the Almighty - that before anything there was God/Allah, both believe in Jesus Christ, both believe in angels, each has a holy book, each has its own calendar, both believe in the Ten Commandments, both believe in the concepts of doing unto others as you would have them to unto you and in loving thy neighbor, both the commandment "Honor thy father and thy mother," both believe in giving to the poor, both actually collect money for the poor, both believe in worship, both believe that human beings have an eternal soul, both believe that the soul is created at conception, both believe that this physical life is but a temporary phase/experience we are going through but that our true nature is spiritual, both believe that the soul lives forever, both believe that God wants us to worship Him, both believe in Satan (I don't!), both believe in the afterlife - either Heaven or Hell (my view is different than the conventional "heaven" and "hell"), both believe that one needs FORGIVENESS of sins to enter Heaven, both believe that these spiritual states last forever.

These are the IMPORTANT things that they have in common. The differences aren't nearly as important as the similarities.

Islam seems to be going through a period similar to the Christian Spanish Inquisition and Crusades (at the same time). Christians were at one time forced to fear their church leaders more than they feared God. Today, the radical Islamic leaders take the Lord's name in vain by condemning men to death in the name of God, thus breaking the third commandment as have many evil men before them.

For the typical believer who hopes to please God and keep his family safe... their faith is similar, regardless of the politics of their organized religions.

Islam is the religion that worships God in proper way. A way taught be the Prophet of God Muhammad (saw).
All Prophets of God surrendered their will to the will of their Creaotor = Muslim. All the Prophets taught people to be surrendered to One God alone.

We worship ONE God without the confusing trinity and getting laws from rabbis or priests. We get the laws of how to obey God from a book that has proven to be preserved for over 1400 years.

Christianity basics are confusing. They do have certain beliefs correct like life after death, day of judgment, messengers being sent. Once you cannot understand the basic concepts of God then all the rest is just meaningless.

Very effective systems of child-hood indoctrination, which are necessary and crucial in order to propagate/perpetuate the mythology. Given that about 1/3 of the world belongs to Christianity-Islam, I'd say it's pretty damn affective.

Religions are man made, not God´s. Islam has a strange way to show love to other people. Christians love God.

We all don't 'just serve the same God.'. That's the biggest lie ever fed. Muslims believe strongly in Islam and their god Allah and the messenger Muhammed. Islam is supposedly the last message of God to all mankind. Muhammed was the messenger, the prophet, it was recorded in the Koran and detailed in the Sunnah.
Christians believe in God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, the trinity all in one. They believe that all have sinned, including themselves, that Christ came to Earth and died for our sins and as a result, we can be forgiven of our sins. Christ's resurrection is often referred to as the most important part of Christianity in that with Christ's resurrection, he will return. Both explanations of Islam and Christianity are very brief and very rough but it's sorta the jist.

Even with the research, I still think both of the religions are filled with ignorant.
I do have God as agnostic.
The god is nature.
The god is science.
Worship science by studying more scientific journals.
To understand how nature works, Use action, don't pray.
