I would agree that the mass media has an influence, it certainly does not help, even watching 'The Inside Man' the other day it made a reference to a stereotypical image. I read in the paper last week that 2 guys were asked to get off a plane because of the panic created by other passengers. It's a simple lack of education and application of 'higher learning'.

If the Government/media wanted to it could air a documentary on prime time TV stating all the misconceptions of society, i.e. not every Muslim is a terrorist. They could even throw in some statistics 0.1% of all Muslims, 1 in a 1000? Maybe because of my conditioning even that figure is an exagerration? Point is people think with their minds not their hearts, and do not care for minority groups, and even if they were to air such a program exposing such truths it would make very little difference, people remain prejudiced because they are conditioned that way.

Also if people were not prejudiced as much as they are then the Government would have hard time selling the war on terrorism to the masses. It needs unrest and it needs people to be passionate about terrorism in order for it to justify changes in the law which take away some of your freedom, but its for your protection so they say. I know I've just offended some people, and I apologise for that, yes there is a problem with terrorism but it is exaggerated by the media.

because they are scared. they don't know any better because the media tells them so. each person on this earth needs to be judged my God alone. but humans seem to take a god-like stance where other people are concerned.

the wars are being fought by some Muslims that are stating that they are out to kill all non-Muslims. that is a very serious and scary statement. i don't think that this these few extremist should be stating their warped beliefs as if they were speaking for all the Muslims in the world. when this stops then non-Muslims will stop being so frightened.

Perhaps its because The people of the world may be widening there disaproval from the so called "muslim" terrorist,- out into the muslim religion and race, because we dont seem to hear the good muslim out there, out right and catagorically condemning these terribly broken people, and their actions,
as actions against Allah.

Well, I don't think Muslims are all terrorist but I do think that Muslim run countries have people who murder and penalize people for free expression and anything that goes against the mosque.Which to me, is a form of terror against the nations own people.But that is another topic.

The majority of Muslims are NOT terrorists. Only a tiny minority are. But the majority of terrorists are Muslim. The Muslim bible the Koran is loaded with verses calling for the killing of Polytheists, (e.g. Hindus), Atheists, Christians, Jews etc. The ninth chapter is particularly replete with such blood thirsty verses.
Only Islam has a concept of holy war. And many Muslims believe that dying while killing non-believers will ensure the killer a place in paradise. (men only, apparently). So which Muslims are the terrorists I could lose my life misjudging a Muslim. At the present moment, moment only Muslim clerics like Sheik Nesrallah, ( a Muslim clergyman, of Hizbullah calls for the wiping out of Israel and extermination of the Jews. (and also by Mr. Ahmedinajad, President of Iran). (he led the takeover and kidnapping of the American embassy and staff in Teheran 30 years ago).
Every day, dozens of Iraqi Sunni Muslims and Shia Muslims kill each other in the streets of Baghdad. And the Sunnis killed at least 130,000 Iraqi Kurds, in the past.
Muslim women are chattels or breeding units in some Muslim cultures.
Several Muslim countries still have slavery, like the Yemen, Somalia, and Suadi Arabia.
Frankly Islam terrifies me. I will never forget the pictures of 9 11. 3,000 people were murdered and for what. I remember pictures of the bombed trains in Spain and London and two nightclubs in Bali. I remember a shoebomber that almost destroyed a plane in midair. (Mr. Reid a Muslim convert), And a plot to destroy ten airliners, recently uncovered in England. I remember pictures of Mr. Van Gogh shot and knifed in an Amsterdam street because he wrote an article critical of Islam. And you wonder why Islam is not popular, and some people dislike Muslims. And you call me and others who think like me immature. I have a right to live in peace, but Islam thinks otherwise. I have a right to be treated with respect and not have the women in my family called whores by Muslims , though living in the West, they denigrate them for not following Muslim customs like wearing hijab , chador or nikab in public in Western cities. Indeed appearing in the streets without the escort of a brother or uncle. (this is in Vienna, Amsterdam, London, and New York.) Our women are not whores, and they do not have to conform to the rules of Muslim dress, demanded by a small minority of Muslim residents living in the west. I
t is Muslims that practice honour killings of Muslim girls, even in Germany, Sweden, England, Austria etc. (brothers and uncles killing sisters and nieces respectively to cleanse the familys name and standing.)
It is safer to consider all Muslims potentially unsafe (Arabs, Kurds, Iranians, Malaysians, Uighurs, whatever), , first, and then determine which people are peaceful and law abiding later, after careful observation.
Yes I am scared to death of Muslims. I fear for myself and my family, and I will never convert to such a barbaric (sharia), backward religion and culture. I would go down fighting before that.
