Three nights ago I was surfing ammo sites and came across one that offered free shipping with the purchase of 5 or more bricks of ammo. But I did not save it to Favorites. I have re-opened all links in my History and have even re-created the exact Search, but to no avail. Anyone know of an ammo site with such a deal? Thanks!

Unless you are seeking military-surplus rifle ammo, you'd be wise to buy at your local Wal-Mart. It's simply cheaper and more convenient to purchase locally than off the Internet, even counting gimmicks like free shipping.

The .22LR I buy from Wal-Mart run about $9 a brick. I also buy surplus ammo from http://www.midwayusa.com and http://www.cheaperthandirt.com . Sorry, I don't know of the site you are talking about..
