My hair is short and curly and cut exactly like my avatar's. I say be bold and chop it all off! Take your school picture at the beginning of the year with short hair and let it grow out the rest of the year. When the yearbooks come out at the end of the year, you'll get a big kick out of how different you look. I should also mention that when my long-tressed friends are sweaty and miserable, I'm at least five degrees cooler in the summer.

Experiment everyday. Some really cool suggestions are crimping, curling, braiding, using chopsticks in your hair. This site is great; It's a bit old but just browse around and go crazy because the styles are all different and for certain hair types and they're great.

Well if you look like your avatar just keep it long and straight. But for me keeping the same style for over 2 months just makes it boring so if you keep on changing it people will probably say 'oh I like your hair' or 'it looks different' which can be a good or bad thing.

Look in magazines. Your hair style should reflect what type of person you are. If you are not so laid back, spunky, not normal, try something that draws attention to you, something new and exciting, off the wall. If you are laid back try something that doesnt draw too much attention to yourself. Just be yourself, who cares if people like you as long as you like the way you look!

OK...i would not go with the afro idea...lol but side bangs are in...and if your hair is curly or straight go the opposite.. it depends on what your like and who your "group" is in school. pixie cuts are always cute. or try a few streaks of pink. it all depends on you

as long as you look good and weird with the kind of hairstyle that you'll wear then you'll be fine.....because some hairdos that might work for some, might not match your facial structure and the shape of head...so don't go for style...go for something that will match your personality and look!!

for anyone who likes anime like i do i suggest wear it with a school girl dress or skirt,pig tales up high and let some hair drop before your ears, thats what im doing
