Don't go by numbers, you are losing fat and gaining muscle..so you are fitter and thinner, but not lighter. Eat sufficient protein, drink lots of water, cut the carbs down.. they are not what you need when building muscle tissue. Eat lots of meats, cheese, egg whites, etc.. stay away from pastas, rice, potatoes etc. You will see a huge difference.. cut the fruits too..they are full of sugar and act like candy on your system when they hit the blood.

You need to alter the amount of calories you take in everyday, take your weight and multiply by 10, this number is the amount of calories you need to consume to maintain your weight. Take the number and decrease the amount of calories. About every four days increase the calories by at least 400. Your body goes into starvation mode if you eat too little and will hold everything you eat and save it for future use as fat. By altering your calories it keeps this from happening. Another thing to try is to have your biggest meal of the day at lunch time, that way your burning off those calories during the day instead of later in the day when your slowing down. Ive lost 77 lbs doing the above techniques. Good Luck

probably eating too many carbs, oh and you are probably not losing weight on the scales as you are building muscle, which weighs more than fat
