I'm glad that Christ exist today. Otherwise none of us would be here.
I'm glad Jesus should have come here. He is the best thing that has happened to my life.
I am a Christian also. I Choose to believe John 3:16 and Romans 8:1. There are many other verses that I like, But I believe and choose to believe the entire bible.

There is more to than Roman 10:9-10 for salvation. There is Lk 24:47 and Mt 28:19.

I believe Jesus Christ was the best thing that happened to my life and to everyone, even some of those who choose not to believe... If it wasn't for Jesus, sinners would have perished by now, but by his mercy they are still allowed to live and choose in this world as they can.
I also believe Romans 10:9-10. But I also believe in Genesis-Revelation. I believe we should follow the 10 commandments, and that Jesus can help us do it, and he has been helping me alot !!

Paul(writer of the earliest bible books) did not think of jesus as god. Yet in later books other christians slowly added more and more athority to Jesus. I think this is a very good point for jesus being a "fish" story(tall tale). He probly existed or may have been several men. But If you read the books in the order they were likely writen you will see how things are slowly exagerated. Try it some time.

when i asked him to come into my heart, i felt nothing. nothing. I swear i dont know what these people are talking about when they say they havea connection with jc. I have been in and out of christaian churches my whole life, but have never felt anything but lust for the tray of donuts after worship service, which, by the way, is usually so boring I could cry. I go about my life, doing volunteer work, because I feel that thats what jc would want me to do if he is who everyone says he is, and besides that, it is satisfying to volunteer your time and resources. But jc? nope, zilch, zippo. I might as well be trying to connect with brad pit or rin tin tin. it doent appear, at this point, that its gunna happen. I don't have anything againt the personage of JC, its just that I seem to be constitutionally incapable of feeling any spiritual zeal for him (Is jc a him?)anyway, to get back to my point, I am an jc agnostic by default because I can't honestly save Ive been "touched" by the holy spirit,or whatever it is I hear people say. People say, "oh you're not really giving in, youre not crawling on your knees proffessing your sins, youre not somehow doing it right". So, I think pretty much its just not for me. I'll stick with god, meditaiton, yoga, nature and not worry myself about ol JC.

Jesus was da man. Loving, caring, gentle, and peaceful. He shunned material wealth and cahorted with the sick, poor, and other "undesirables". He sacrificed much so that you and I could live and try to redeem ourselves by living according to his principles.
That said, I don't see much of that in today's fundamentalist Christians, who appear to love wealth, judging others, and twisting the scriptures to further a political agenda. I think folks like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson have already purchased a one-way ticket to Hades, despite their holier-than-thou claims.
There are many good, genuine Christians out there. I'm glad to have known a few. Yet in this divisive time of culture wars, they seem to be laying low while the zealots push their values onto others. Jesus would be ashamed to see these individuals and their flocks.

I LOVE Jesus Christ! He is my best friend! Sometimes I feel that I wish I spent more time learning about Him and reading my Bible. I asked Jesus into my heart at the age of 4...He has kept me strong and I am so happy to say that He is my Savior.

2000 years is a long enough time ago to say things have changed quite a bit since then. Of course, some things never change.
We need to consider the eternal nature of Lord Jesus, his message and his example.

I love Him more than life. He has given us so much, more than we could ever deserve, or even dream of having. He is the most incredible Being I could possibly ever know. I am so grateful that He came to earth, that He took time to find me and help me, and show me the Father...it blows my mind that I'm a part of His Great Plan. Its a mind blowing Gift that He holds out to us. I can't imagine the pain and heartache of finding that out too late.
