Perhaps it is because we all know ,deep down, that He is real.
Romans 1:18-20
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because THAT WHICH IS KNOWN ABOUT GOD IS EVIDENT WITHIN THEM, for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, HAVE BEEN CLEARLY SEEN, being understood through what has been made, so they are without excuse.

God's law is written in our hearts.
And as far as being afraid to die, I've seen more than one person who wasn't afraid to die, Christian or not (dvlsadvo). Sometimes when Christians are afraid to die they are a little further away from God at the moment then they should be, but that doesn't mean they are not going home with Him. And some people like at the rides at Disneyland....they are afraid of the ride but still get on and experience the ride till it's over.....for some that's how they experience death.
Preach on little one.....God has conquered! He's just mopping up now.

I strongly agree with you.
It is kind of funny, but people that supposely do not believe in God end up accepting HIS reality in their lives. Everybody is given the chance to experiment how faithful we are at some point in lifetime.

people all know that God is real in their sub conscience. so when they do get to the point in their lives they realize that God is there. there are many stories in the Bible that tell of people that didn't believe in God and end up calling on him for help. but don't you think that it is better for a person to call on God for help when they didn't believe before and start living their lives for Him rather than they die not believing.

I wonder why people who say that they believe in god always end up demonstrating that they don't.
I mean, if you believe in this god and bliss after death, then you shouldn't fear anything in life, including the end of it.
Yet I've never met a christian who really wasn't afraid of death. Many who CLAIM to be, but when they face death, they're afraid. Clearly they don't believe 100%
In other words, there are only agnostics in the foxholes. If you're in a foxhole in the first place, you must fear death.

what you say is true........but it doesn't really matter if they believe or not cause God knows them and they won't be forgotten. God loves them just the same as you and me
