Okay, there are three parts to God, it is called the trinity. There is God, who is the creator, there is Jesus Christ who is the physical form of God who was needed to sacrifice himself for our sins, then there is the Holy Spirit, which is what is everywhere all at once and that is what we supposedly feel when God enters our lives. So they are all the same but in different forms that each have a different purpose.
I am not a christian in any way. The reason why is because of your second question. God's omnipotence is falsified to make Him seem greater than what he really is. God has a conditional love for the people that believe in him and follow his rules. If we don't then He throws us in a place of eternal torture. That is what He is saying in laments terms. Doesn't sound like somebody I want to worship unconditionally if you ask me. Very good question, I hoped I was able to help.

I will attempt to answer this in a way to help understand, the Triune nature of God. When man was created God said we will create man in our image... image meaning God is triune and we as humans are triune in nature. Intellect (mind) Body and Spirit.
Jesus tells us that the father is Spirit and must be worshipped in Spirit. John 4:24 God [is] a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship [him] in spirit and in truth.
Jesus is the "word made flesh" in John 1:1 we see that "in the beginging was the word and the word was with God and the word was God." in verse 14 we are told the word was made flesh... this in the person of Jesus Christ. If the word was made flesh in verse 14.... and we see in verse 1 that the word "was God" then we see that Jesus is God.
The Holy spirit by definition is Spirit.... the Spirit of God. "The comforter".
So to explain it equals out like this....
God the Father - Intellect
God the Son (Jesus) Body
God the Holy Ghost- Spirit
We unlike God are not able to seperate the three and function as a whole. But then if we were able to do the things of God we would be God.
We refer to Jesus as the "Son of God" because he was born of a woman into flesh.... therefore he is a "son".
I hope this has been of some help to you. God bless you

God is the Father, the all knowing creator. Jesus is the Son of God. He, along with the Holy Spirit, was there at the time of creation. He is the only way we can be reconciled with the Father. The Holy Spirit, just as important though often left out, is who convicts us and call us to the Father through the Son. And He indwells our lives the sencond we become Christians. It is hard to understand, impossible if you don't know them personally. But they are one awesome amazing God revealed in three beings.

Jesus, God -- are one. Jesus came to earth in human form, the 'son' to save people like you. He cares if you believe because He loves his children -- even if they are nuts. But be warned, it's tough love and like any responsible parent He can bar you from His house if you misbehave.
So chill out....

Jesus is THE Christ, the Son of the Living God. Also, he is God, God the Son, son of God the Father.
Also, their duty is different from ours.

Christ is the earthly embodiment of our Heavenly Father who created everything. He did not want obedient slaves that could not disobey even if they wanted to which is why He gave us free will.We have the choice to obey or not.
