Wow, this could be fun....Sugar Daddy, Sugar Babies, Sky Bar, Necco Wafers, Dots, Salt Water Taffy, Chiclets, Wrigley's Fruit Stripe Gum, Almond Roca (still have to buy that...), Peppermint Gob Stoppers, Almond Joy (sometimes you feel like a nut....) Horehound Drops, Junior Mints, Spruce gum...same era as Blackjack and then up to Pop Rocks. I have some even more special candy related memories as my Dad worked for James O Welsh Candy Company out of Mass. which became part of Nabisco for over thirty five years, so this has been a real walk down memory lane for me. Have a great night!

There used to be a hard candy made by Brach's called Sparkles. This was in the 70s. They made all different flavors. My brother and I still miss them! Our favorites were green apple and watermelon. Also loved Zots, Jolly Rancher Fire sticks, Astro pops, Teaberry gum, and freshen up gum. Thanks for the memories!

My mother made Oklahoma Brown Honey Candy every Christmas---when she died in 1986, she took the recipe with her.
My dad's mother stuffed dates with walnuts and confectioners sugar. My all-time favorite snack (to this day) is to pop popcorn in olive oil with a touch of rosemary, then sprinkle with a really good parmessan cheese=======sounds good, get out of the kitchen I'm headed in.

Can't forget candy necklaces. My neck used to get so sticky from eating the candy from around it.
Also the little wax bottles with colored water in them, and a plain ole Hershey bar, broken apart, square by square.

Wow. Some of those I've never heard before. I like and still do: Kit-kats, Snickers, Milano, Hershey's chocolate, Ghiradelli, and Madeline's.
