It is true. Jesus Christ and God the Father revealed themselves to Joseph Smith less than 200 years ago. Jesus Christ, Peter, James and John came down from heaven and gave authority of the Priesthood to Joseph Smith. God lives. He has had a great plan for us from the beginning. Pray to know if this is true, I promise the spirit will testify. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Believe it or not Angel I once had the Opinion of some of these Yellow Dogs. I didn't believe that The LDS Church was true, but after reading the Book of Mormon and putting their doctrine to the test. Malachi 3:10 (mid-verse)...prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windowns of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

I've proven this to be true with every doctrine, from The Atonement to Tithing, Having the Melchizedek Priesthood on my head I bear my Testimony that "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself." John 7:17 How well do you know the doctrine of God, if you want to know what the doctrine is I can show you the truth. I end this with a blessing, anyman who does search the scriptures, their heart, and earnestly seeks truth in prayer to God the Father, through his Beloved Son Jesus Christ, the Truth will be revealed. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hmm, I believe they got a few things right, but other points, in my opinion, wrong. I just wouldn't call your church the true church, as God's church is not a physical church, but a composite of all the faithful on earth. Everyone who believes in Him, even if you or I think they got a few of the points wrong, still love and worship our God, and His holy son Jesus and are His church. I may not pray to saints like catholics, and I might thing it's wrong, but I acknowledge that they are the Lords, as they DO serve Him. You may not like my views on revelation but I still love and worship Jesus and so am a part of God's church. It's these divisions that everyone ought to agree are against God's will, for He said "A house divided amongst itself cannot stand" that applies to us as well, and not just satan(as he was stating it about).

The 'True Church' is those who love and honor the Lord our God, and love their nieghbors as they love themselves. It has existed since the first christian ever believed, and will last until the stars fall from the sky, and even after. Blessed be you, and any other who follow the Word, the Love, and the Way. You, though you and I differ slightly in view, are my brother in christ, and through Him we live. May we continue to do so, whetherin the body or spirit, earth or heaven, amen.

Priesthood was not only on this one dude about 200 years ago! I don't believe that some dude found some gold tablets and had some stones to translate the tablets through a Hat? R u serious? i happen to be a Christian and All the times that i heard God sshowing himself to anyone PARTIALLY their outer apperence was alltered in some way. Then all of a sudden this guy comes along And says he saw God and Jesus And nothing happened to him? Even Moses' Hair turned white! Just think about the stories you guys are believing, and remember that God also said there will be false Prophets using his name! People Start thinking and using the Brain that God gave you!

The Lord's true church, the ecclesia, is made up of all those who have been baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ. That is God's Plan, and I doubt that He would change it in midstream. Pray to know if this is true. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Sorry. The Bible states that when people die, they rest in the ground waiting Jesus' return. Also the Investigative Judgement started in 1844 (2300 year prophecy of Daniel 10,11,12). And the true remnant church would form after that time.

BTW, mormons doctrine says that it was good that Eve ate the fruit, so people can be on the way to God-Hood, which just follows one of the serpants first lies, ye shall be as gods. Also the serpant said ye shall not surely die, just another thing LDS don't believe, they believe in the immortal soul, heaven or hell straight after you die when Jesus says we will be asleep untill he comes (unless we alive at the time he comes)

i would answer this question with a question...

i tried the mormon thing,,,, thought it was great for a while... right up untill a bishop told me that i needed to give all of my earthly possessions to the church and go on a mission.

now here is a man that drove a LEXUS to church that day
asking me for money, i could barely keep my PINTO on the road and was about to be evicted for inability to pay rent.

furthermore why did president Hinkley spend millions of church dollars trying to cover up the SALAMANDER LETTER.

here is a man that claims to have the gift of sight bestowed by god himself, and he could not see that the letter was a fake.

is it not very convienent that all of the so called artifacts that Joseph Smith found were called back to heaven...

Great. Just great.

As if answering Jehovah Witnesses, Islam, and Atheists all day wasn't enough, now pops in the Mormons. Sigh.....

Another clueless individual to the truth...just like Joseph Smith. You're supposed to be practicing to be Gods, aren't you? Having your own personal planet, even? The LDS doctrine is so messed up, it sounds more like LSD than LDS.....

Actually, Christ established the Catholic Church.
Only in the Book of Mormon, which is not a book sanctioned by the Catholic Church, or any of the Christian Churches, is Joseph Smith's ... testimony recorded.
