Son, every time. Her son came from her blood, and her body. The husband is JUST another man. Period. The SON.

Choose husband or son for what reason? Who lives or dies?
I choose the son, I am responsible for him but not for the husband.
Theoreticaly you should choose the spouse , (as for whos more important. He should be the most important person in a woman's life. Children will grow up and go.
The thing is that if the husband was trully the one who would "stay for good and bad till death , then there is no question.
But the reality is that husbands go away and dont value the relationship more than their own needs or wants or freedom, are not ready to stay and work things out even when it gets very very tough.
It cant be a true relationship if in the back of either spouse's mind is " if it doesnt work out, we will get divorced" . Of course when you are happy you dont think about this option , but the problem is when you are not.
So the women are forced to choose the person who will always be there , and that is the son.

I would have to chose my son. There are several different reasons but for one thing me and my husband have already lived a pretty full life. And because secondly I would hope if my husband had the same choice between me or our daughter to live that he would choose for our daughter to live. They didn't ask to be brought here or chose which parents they got to guide them through life, so I think it only fair to give them EVERY opportunity to live life to it's fullest. Hope this helps at all

Most people would choose there kid, out of instinct for their seed to continue. However, if you're talking about God, I think the Bible says you're supposed to choose your spouse first.
Ironically, didnt Abraham have 2 decide to choose his son or not in the Bible? Why are you asking a similar question? Do you plan on offing someone soon?

I love my husband very very much but there are a couple times we don't always c eye to eye. So there is always a possibilty that we may not stay together. On the other hand I love my son madly and I know he is my flesh and blood we will always be together no matter how far away he is. So I would choose my son...... just don't tell my husband k? =)

The son, always the child. Don't get me wrong, I love my husband more than anything, except my children.
Those are 2 completely different types of love. One is replaceable, the other isn't.
You can always find another man to fill the void, but your child is literally a part of you. If they die, so do you. (metaphorically speaking)

of course the woman shouldn't have to choose between her husband and her son ..but without a doubt the choice should be her son ....
her husband is a grwon man and can handle himself ...her son is someone she chose to bring into this world and is responsible for .so let her be responsible for him and let the husband be his own man

Unfortunately ladies, it's your husband. You made a vow before God "till death" to your husband, not your child. I know, it sounds harsh and it seems that it would be the obvious choice. But God created woman for man, not children.
