What companies [Starbucks, McDonalds, Home Depot, etc...] do you guys know that offer the best tuition assistance programs for their employees? Either national companies or in San Diego, California....
Any experiences, or comments on how student-schedule friendly/flexible they are would be appreciated also...

Thanks

I already get grants but I'd like to still get a job for other expenses, I also want to use the tuition assistance/reimbursement to pay for tuition and then use the school grants for other school-expenses that are not tuition... = more money in my account

Sajna, Many different companies offer many different kinds of tuition reimbursement. Policies can vary greatly between companies. Some companies will cover 100% of education regardless of what courses you are taking. Some may cover 50% of courses that are relevant to your work, and some may not cover anything. When you are invited to an interview, you should ask to see the company's policy on tuition reimbursement.

I work for Home Depot, they offer tuition reembursement for full time associates. It is half of the cost of your books and classes as long as you get a C or better. THe best out there is from the people who make Smucker's 100% reembursement...and obviously the armed forces offer the GI bill

Radioshack does reimbursemant but you have to be there full time 4 months first, and remain at least 32 hours while attending class. Your grade has to be above a B- also. You can also get dental and vision cheap thru them, but there medical is expensive.
