Your hobbies aren't what makes you emotional. Maybe you just need to be honest with yourself if something is bothering you. Being creative and playing guitar is a GOOD thing, don't blame your problems on art, you have art to act as an outlet for your problems. But if you think you need help, talk to a psychiatrist.

Lots of people involved in arts, like music and the like are very emotional. I know I personally am quite highly strung, and I think it's just something natural.

Also, how old are you? Im only drawing a rough conclusion, but if you're around 13-19/20 a lot of your feelings could be related to the hormonal imbalance that happens around this time. When I was 15 - 19, I just wanted to die, every single day. It happens to most people, and it will pass with time.

Whatever you do, DONT give up your guitar. That wont help, and it'll be something else you're missing out on.

Some people are more emotional than others, your hobby is one of your enjoyments it can enhance your music abilities. Because of emotion, you can reach people with your music, and sing important messages. However, if you find yourself getting too overwhelmed, change your style, for more of a happier, cheerful mode. Sometimes we got to take a break from it, and get more into humour. If your emotions seem to become a concern and is impacting you with sad and negative way too often, then, perhaps see a physician and get a check up to make sure it isn't a health issue going on, and/or ask if you may need therapy for depression. Hope that is helpful, good luck.

No, I don't think you need to see a psychiatrist. You are very emotional about your music and because of that you cry. That's a wonderful trait to have because you "feel" the music which means you are doing it from your heart! You will probably be a great song writer one day! And don't let anyone pick on you either. You have a gift. Just use it to the best of your ability!

yea, maybe it is just a certain stage in your life and you are just emotional and it will go away with time. I think that the more creative a person is, maybe they just show feelings easier ((??))
