I think most people hate actions not the people themselves.
In this issue--we hate people who break the laws-not the people.
There is a right way and a wrong way to come. If you choose the wrong action you will feel the consequences of that action.
Hating wrong behavior is not bad. We should all hate wrong behavior.

I'm neither proud nor ashamed. Hate is just a feeling you get when someone hurts you, does damage, threatens your health and peace and welfare and others you care about. The main thing is, I wonder when I'll ever be able to get rid of the hate, because it affects me negatively, not the other person. I wonder when I'll be free of it, put it behind me. Forgiveness is supposed to do that. But letting all that go is a hard thing.

Great question! I've never really thought of it before! For me, I do feel ashamed and feel like it's not my right to hate them, because they are a person just like me and have reasons they do things.

But I have a feeling that a lot of people wouldn't agree with me.

Personally I don't hate. There are things that I don't like. If i can do something about it then i do, but if i can't then i can't. There is no reason in Hating someone. I have felt hate....and i don't like it. I just don't think i need to stoop to that level when i can deal with it civily. I guess i could say that i hate child molestors, and people like that. that kind of hate i have no shame in.

I do not think I have ever hated anyone. The man that murdered my brother in a robbery attempt, I was so angry with & I thought I hated him but decided he was not worth the trouble to hate.

Very few times have I hated a person I can hate what they do,how they act, what they say, etc,but the person as a whole? They would have to be a horrible person inside and out. There have been a few and yes it devistates me. Don't get me wrong I'm no wimp.
