I would get some nurses shoes. They look very comfortable to me and they have to be on their feet all day too.

You need a shoes comfortable with a good arch support. Avoid wearing heels and shoes which are uncomfortable. There are a number of places to look for a good shoes. If you are in the chicken hatchery looking for a neoprene work shoes is good. If you are handling heavy machinery try getting a steel toed neoprene(water proof material) shoes. If you want you can get Dr. Scholls insole gels.
A little expensive comfortable, shoes will save you back pain, and life long health. Little does shoes stores talk about this kind of issues. A podiatrist will tell you this, but by the time you have an appointment with him, it is too late. So better prevent it before it is too late.
Best of luck.

I like Ryka, they are not just a smaller cut of men's shoes, they are designed for women from the beginning.
Try to wear different pairs of shoes, change through the day. Look into orthodics. They help too. You may want to try support hosiery. It will help with circulation in legs. And try to move your legs during the day, even while standing in place.

Well, as far as tennis shoes/walking shoes go, I find that the Dr. Scholls brand walking shoes are pretty comfy. In slip on shoes, I'd reccomend a Birkenstock or Crocs shoes. Hope this helps!

A shoe with a good arch support, extra thick cushioning, soft and thick soles that don't make you stand in a way that pushes your back out of alignment.
Look up "plantar's fasciitas" (if I spelled it right). There are whole studies aimed at preventing it in workers who are on their feet all day.

I am also on my feet all day. And I work on Airplanes on the flight line. My best bet will go to Dr. Scholls Gell type and a good pair of sox's. Cause that works for me

safety shoes if you're working with a possibility of dropping something hard or a nice fluffy pair of wool socks and some foot powder inside the shoe to absorb any moisture, try a running shoe with cushiony solesand if possible get a relief matt,it's also cushiony.

Get a really good pair of Nikes, ones that ACTUALLY fit (not too big, not too snug, and break them in by stretching the backs out) with a pair of gel insoles. Feels great, and lasts all day long!!

Dr. Schols are really the best. Really comfortable. They cost about 20.00 to 32.00 dollars.
