Everyone likes them different.
I like clamato juice, worchester sauce, celery salt, salt, pepper and sometimes olive juice. For heat: I like horseradish sauce or tabasco or Frank's Red Hot.
I also like a celery stick.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Vodka
3 oz. Tomato Juice
Dash of Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
2 drops of Tabasco Sauce
Go Metric!
Instructions:
Shake with ice and strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
OR
Ingredients:
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Sherry
Tomato Juice
Dash of Worcestershire Sauce
Dash of Salt
Dash of Tabasco Sauce
Dash of Pepper
Go Metric!
Instructions:
Stir in a highball glass and fill with tomato juice. Garnish with a celery stick and lime wedge.

The Best Results from trial and error.
Bloody Mary
2 oz Absolut Peppar
6 oz V8
squeeze lime
1tbsp lemon juice
1tbsp worcestershire sauce
3 shakes Tabasco
couple shakes of Celery Salt, and ground black pepper
Shake and pour over ice into a pint glass.
Garnish with Celery stalk, Red Onion slice, Red Bell pepper Slice, and Green Bell Pepper slice.

Some people like Horseradish mixed in also, I personally don't care for it.

Tomato juice, 2 -3 dashes of Worcestershire sauce,dash celery Salt, , dash of Tabasco, pepper & vodka. In place of regular tomato juice try it with the Spicy V8 might find out you like it better and just add other items to your taste.

All of the recipes I have read have the same basic idea but if you REALLY want to add some depth to your drink (after the clam juice, lemon, black pepper, tabasco, etc...) add about 1/2 a teaspoon of beef bullion (dry, like Herbox or Knorr) It'll give it a layer that worcestershire sauce can't touch. Pepper Stoli doesn't hurt, either.

choose the right glass should be tall and thin without a stem. Then put the ice in first add vodka twist of lime couple shakes of tabasco and add a celery stick for a stirer

I make it sometimes to fight being hung-over. Quicker the better, with tomatoe juice and saurkraut juice for that quicker elimination thing that seems to work every time. Now if you use too much hot sauce, you'll get the full meaning to Johnny Cash's ' Ring of Fire' !
