I used to write poems 2 or 3 years back. But now I feel my language is not as good as it used to be. Can you please help me?
I do read English classics so as to improve my language.
Any other tips?

It sounds rather good from what you have written. The best way would be for you to go live in an English speaking country for a year or more. Could you study or work there?
Barring that, you should take a varied approach. Read as much as you can, listen to English language books on tape, rent English movies or take them out of your library. Read English literature, magazines and watch English language broadcasts from CNN and the BBC. You should probably try to become comfortable with both a British and an American accent. I know all of that it a lot to do, but you will benefit if you can even spend 2 or 3 hours a week on some of those activities. Poems are difficult, so you already have a good strong base.

The best way to improve your English is to interact with native speakers. If you aren't around anyone to practice with you should continue what you are doing, talking online. Writing a language is always harder than speaking it (especially English). Also, there are all sorts of computer programs out there that you can actually TALK to and they will anylize your pronunciation of words. Just search on eBay under "computer software" with the keyword "english." You will find the best deals there. But truly the BEST way to improve is to find someone else to practice speaking English with on a regular basis. :)

Interact! Interact! Interact!

Writing poetry in a language not your own is very difficult. Reading English classics is very good, but nothing provides the direct feedback like talking to a native speaker. If you can find someone who will gently point out your malapropisms and faux pas, all the better.

i am not sure how you speak english, but you write beautifully. just keep on speaking english as much as you can. try not to use your native language if you don't have to. did you ever hear of the saying "practice makes perfect"? well just keep practicing and you'll be right where you want to be

There are classes or ESL sites online you could see. But I really suggest taking a class because there you will get practice with reading, writing and speaking.

Hi

If you have fear to speak with others, practice by speaking with school going kids (matriculation)

I learned in that way.
