hmm i am starting 7th grade and my cousins just asked me to go on vacation with them. I found out we are coming back the day before school starts..... and I haven't gotten the chance to go school shopping yet. so should I still go?

This may be a problem for you now, but think of going to school without your requirements or the frustration of trying to get them at the very last minute. Far better to take your time and go to school relaxed.

Go on vacation and enjoy yourself. You shouldn't do school shopping before school starts anyway. Teachers are usually particular about what they want you to get for their classes so if you wait until after the first day you can get exactly what you need and not worry about getting the wrong things. You can shop for new clothes the day before school starts also.

If you want to go, go. You will just have to do some major shopping the day before school starts. Maybe you can do some shopping on vacation.

when i was in school we never did the school shopping thing really. As long as you have clothes that aren't falling apart you will be fine. Of course if you need school supplies you will have to pick up some paper and pencils before you go the first day.

hell yeah...go to Walmart when you return...they're open 24/7. Most of my regrets in my life are wishing I would have done more...
as for the answer earlier about having other opportunities later...don't count on it...You won't need anything on your first day except for some clothes and maybe a bookbag...so, unless you're naked and shivering right now, just wear some old clothes...
