My ex-bf and I broke up a month ago and the way he broke up with me is this he said "I think we should take a break". Do u think him and I will get back together? Or will we just stay as we are single and partly misserable.

FIRST OF ALL THERE MUST BE A REASON AS TO WAY HE SAID THAT HE NEEDED A BREAK SO JUST GIVE IT TO HIM HE MUST NEED IT FOR HIS OWN REASON!!! AND MAYBE THIS WILL BE A GOOD THING . I KNOW FOR MYSELF MY BOYFRIEND OF A YR AND A HALF TOLD ME THAT HE NEEDED A BREAK AFTER AN ARGUMENT SO I SAID FINE WHATEVER!!! I GAVE HIM SPACE I DIDN'T CALL HIM AS MUCH AS I WANTED TO I DIDN'T I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND IT WAS SO HARD FOR ME BUT WHEN I GAVE HIM THAT SPACE AND HE SAW THAT I WASN'T CALLING HE STARTED TO COME AROUND AGAIN AND I THINK FOR HIM HE NEEDED THE SPACE FOR HIMSELF NOT FOR ANYTHING I DID. HE HAD NEVER TOLD ME HE LOVED ME UP UNTIL HE ASKED FOR HIS SPACE LATER DOWN THE ROAD HE TOLD ME THAT THE REASON HE NEEDED HIS SPACE IS BECAUSE HE HAD PUT UP A WALL AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AND BY HIM BEING AWAY FROM ME SHOWED HIM THAT HE DID LOVE AND THAT HE DID WANT TO BE WITH ME! AND I CAN TELL YOU HE HAS TURNED AROUND 100% WHEN IT COMES TO SHOWING ME HOW MUCH HE CARES ABOUT ME SO SOMETIMES SPACE IS NOT A GOOD THING BUT I DO THINK THAT MAYBE YOU SHOULD WRITE HIM A LETTER EXPRESSING WHERE YOUR COMING FROM AND LEAVE IT AS THAT!!!!!!!!

Well...he made the call so if anything he should be making the effort to get back together if you want him too. Don't forget, he may or may not have feelings for you anymore. You have to gage it.

I think you shouldn't pressure him into getting back together, but since you still have feelings for him, make it known. By flirting or playing hard to get. The purpose in any relationship is not to feel miserable. If the relationship is miserable to begin with than get out. If you're miserable without him then make some effort, but not all. If it's both than move on.

Think short-term vs. long-term pain or happiness.

I think you should date someone else. I think he did you a favor taking a break is a nice way of playing the field. It's been a month move on and find someone who is better for you.

if you want to get back you should put some effort into it

there is a chance you can get back together, but you have to have at least one of you doing the first steps

Breaks are not necessarily a bad thing. Use this time to improve yourself and make your self irresistible if you see him about town.

Do not call him, let him call you.

I say don't think about it, drop him out of your life. He is not the only person in the world that you can go out with, so please don't waste your time believing that he is the only one. you only live once.
