How long is too long?

Question

I have very pretty and shiny healthy hair, but its down to the middle of my back. Is that too long? I love my long hair, but does everyone else?

For those of you who said as long as I'm under 25, its all good then because I'm just 17.

ya, long hair is nice, but too long is when it passed your bum, that's my opinion, i love long hair though,,,i cant imagine life with short hair,,lol

If you like, keep it. That's the bottom line.

Style is a personal decision. It's nice to think about how other people see you, but really.. Who cares? I'm sure that your hair is beautiful and you shouldn't cut it unless you want to.

(If you do, locks of love is a great idea!!)

But surely, don't do it for anyone else, especially a guy.

PS., 9 out of 10 guys prefer long hair.. Personally, I'm not too much into looking any certain way because that's how men prefer it. Hopefully you won't either.

I guess i've always had my hair long so middle of the back seems like an average length for me, but no that is DEF not too long. If you are keeping it healthy then keep it long. I do love long hair as long as it doesn't look ratty and unhealthy at the ends. And what other people are saying, who cares if other people think your hair is to long....they probably are saying that because they can't grow their hair out as long as your while keeping it healthy! Keep it girl!

If you're under 25 then its considered ok to have really long hair. If its healthy though, i say grow it to your butt, shiney healthy hair looks good no matter what and no better way to show it off then to have it ridiculously long right? However people with dry crappy hair should just cut it off. But I say go with what you love.

long hair is very pretty especially when its healthy. Too long I say is past your butt but some people make it work. It depends. If your short it looks horrible but if your tall its hott. Or maybe its the other way around. It just depends but I personally love long hair and like i said too long is past your butt.

i dont agree with the 25 year old thing. i am 27 and my hair is nearly to my bottom and nearly all 1 length. i get compliments on my hair all the time. i work in a bar and the men love long hair on women of all ages. but what matters is what you yourself like. if it begins to get in your way or your ends become split and dead, trim it up but dont cut off too much. dont worry if you do though cause honey, it will grow back.

I love long hair, as long as it's healthy. If you want to try something different or take some of the weight off try long layers. As long as yours is it sounds like about 3 layers would be good.

If you like it then that's all that matters. You could try some layers just to update the look. Sometimes long, flat hair can look kinda boring. You can keep it long with layers but still get a good look.

Long hair is nice. But you have to maintain it properly. It should be given proper care. So that it will ratin its shine, length, strength. If you are not sure about mainatanenece you go for a short crop. It will be much easier to maintain.Whater the length may be it si all one persoanl taste and convenience, some like it long, some like it short

I think to the middle of your back is ok if your under like 25. If it looks good and is healthy its fine. Just don't let it get Nasty and make sure you trim it regularly and I personally wouldn't go past where it is!

I have long hair had I never cut it off when I was eight teen It would be in the middle of my back as yours is now, You say you love your long hair, THEN KEEP IT, NO SUCH THING AS TO LONG NOT WHEN YOU ARE A FEMALE.
