at some stores you have to be 18 to buy over the counter drugs that can be used to get high or to make other drugs.. since when is it legal for an 18 year old to get high or make drugs?

They are not saying that at 18 it is legal to get high or make drugs. The are saying that they assume that by the time you are 18 you are responsible enough to use the over-the-counter drugs in the way they were intended to be used.

its not legal for anyone to get high or make drugs, the drugs they are buying in the first place are supposed to be used for the orignial medicinal purpose regardless of the age. The age limit of 18 is just to reduce dumb *** kids from buying it all of the time.

Yea, they started it a couple of years ago. They put these cards in place of the medicine. If you want to get the medicine you have to take the card with the name of what you want to the pharmacy. That's when they check you ID to see if you are 18, I think it goes for spray paint to.

It's not, but an 18 year old should be mature enough to make decisions on their own. They are adults If they wanna screw up let them.

They have to set some limit so they chose 18. It is illegal and stupid to make or use illegal drugs at any age.

It isn't, but the reason for this is that adults are usually more capable of better decision making (Usually not always) And besides do you expect them to completely ban cold medicines? I mean come on. That would suck.
