If it is between u guys alone, put it in a tumbler or buy her a matching chain or earrings & give that first, then when she smiles & happy with it, then say you have something else to match it, then propose on ur knees, with candles burning around you, soft music in the background & a bunch of red roses. If it is a engagement function, then get one of the youngest boys (between 5-8 years) to hold a beautiful decorated red cushion with the ring box pinned on the centre of the cushion & just one red rose which he will hand over to you. When he walks down the isle, the lights must go dim & play a beautiful love song. There are plenty Hindi ones that has the meaning of love & marriage. the old romantic way perhaps? down on one knee etc etc. ask the parents first....can i have permission to marry your daughter, i promise to love Honor and obey etc etc...then turn to her and say....i love you, respect you and honour you etc etc then put the ring on her/his finger (make sure it fits first cause that could be an embarrassing moment if it was too small lol) most of all be honest, have fun and build great memories!
